It allows others to hear a language really spoken and to experience and understand life in a country with a diffierent tradition, culture and language. In Holland we have &#8211; of course &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230202104431\/http:\/\/www.holland-subtitling.nl\/en\/index.php\">Holland Subtitling<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can surely be no accident that countries that use subtitling are also countries with a great knowledge and appreciation of foreign languages, like Holland and Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some also regard it as no accident that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230202104431\/http:\/\/www.accurapid.com\/journal\/32film.htm\">dubbing<\/a>&nbsp;originated in countries under the yoke of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230202104431\/http:\/\/houshuang.org\/blog\/2005\/12\/13\/same-language-subtitling-and-literacy\/\">fascism<\/a>. Dubbing can change the meaning of dialogue.
